Captain Ray Clarke has lived in Port St Lucie since 1996 after a career which included 30 years in the Navy and Naval Reserve during which he had three command tours at sea. Capt. Ray also founded The Clarke Insurance Agency in New Jersey which is now owned and managed by his son Larry. Capt. Ray captained a dinner cruise boat in New York harbor, a tour boat at Club Med here in Port St Lucie and a ferry on the St. Johns River for the week of the Super Bowl in Jacksonville. He has taught seamanship, vessel examination and safe boating for the past 11 years. He and his wife Beverly live in the Ballantrae section of Port St. Lucie.
Captain Eric Jennings has lived in Port St Lucie since
2009. He previously captained a tour boat on the Indian River Lagoon out of
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia he’s a lifelong boater and spent
his early years fishing, clamming and crabbing on the Lynnhaven River and
Capt. Eric moved to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands for four years working on the charter yacht circuit as a chef and first mate. Upon his return to Virginia he opened and operated a boat building and restoration shop for ten years. After moving to the Treasure Coast he continues to restore boats and currently holds USCG 50 ton Masters credentials. Eric and Christine live in the Portage Cove section of Port St Lucie.
Captain Ken Mazur moved to Port St Lucie from Baltimore Maryland in 1995 after retiring from a marketing/sales career with Montgomery Ward Company. He obtained his United States Coast Guard license and later his Florida Master Naturalist Certification. Capt. Ken captained tour boats in Baltimore Harbor, Fort Lauderdale Florida and at the Kissimmee River restoration project, north of Lake Okeechobee. He has taught the United States Power Squadron safe boating course for the past 10 years and is a certified vessel examiner for the USPS. Capt. Ken lives in Southport section of Port St. Lucie with his wife Cindy.
